Let me share with you our vision for the Set Up Team Ministry. We have about 5-6 awesome people that set up every Sunday morning. I would like to add about 4 more people every week. So, let’s create 4 teams to assist the 5-6 that are there every week. Each team will only need to be there once a month and the load will be lighter for everyone. Set-up starts at 7:30 on Sunday’s….. Why do we need your Food Lion MVP Card numbers? Because each time that you use your MVP Card at Food Lion, the Community Storehouse gets 1% kick-back. There is a maximum of $350 each quarter, but this is money that is used to feed the hungry. All you need to do is look at your MVP Card and get the 12 numbers off the card. Email them to me or Kim and we will forward it to the Community Storehouse. Don’t wait….do it right now. We are currently getting about $100 every quarter. We need about 100 more numbers to get us to the $350 per quarter. So please get your card out right now….and send it. This is for a great cause and it costs you nothing…… Thanks, Pastor Carl

My desire is to get to know more about the people who are coming to CrossPoint. We have people from all walks of life and I think that is what makes us different. I love it. Some of you grew up in church and some of you didn’t. Some of you have been a Christian for a long time and some of you are young Christians.
I would like for some of you to share your testimony with me. Maybe you ask, what is my testimony? I am glad that you asked. Your testimony is about the change that God has done and is doing in your life. He took you from where you were, to where you are today.
My testimony is that God took me from an addiction to alcohol and delivered me from it and now I am preaching the Word of God. An alcoholic to Preacher. WOW! I could go into more details, but you get the idea.
Your testimony is important. Maybe you have not really thought about your testimony and God may use this to really challenge you. God will use your testimony to help other people.
So, I would love to hear from you about your testimony. It can be short, or you may go into more details. Anyway, I love to hear them. It encourages me and it will also help me know more about you and what God has done in your life. Please email them to carl@crosspoint4u.org

All I can say is “Sunday was AWESOME”. We arrived at BHS and God had a different plan in store for us and we didn’t even know it. Thank you set-up team for being such an awesome group of people who love the Lord. We were not able to set up in the auditorium, so we moved to the gym. Result…..an awesome, spirit filled service and four people came to know Jesus as their personal Savior. Amen.

A big “Thank you” to the Davidson family for hosting our event on Sunday night. They opened up their home for some 150+ people. We used their pool and baptized 8 people and then we had a wedding for Jamey Foley and Monica (Mcbride) Foley on their lawn. How cool was that. And then finished up with a great time of fellowship.
We will continue our series on “Fearless” this weekend. So invite a friend to come with you as we will be looking into the life of “Benaiah”.
There will be a sign-up sheet at info point for those of you who are interested in leading or hosting a small group. We will start training in a few weeks. The first session of small groups will start Oct 5 and will finish on Dec. 7th.
We will have a sign-up sheet at “info point” Sunday for our Mission Trip to Lima, Peru next summer. If you are interested, we are going to have a meeting this Sunday following the service.
