The CrossPoint Sunday Experience was “AWESOME”!
God is good and we praise Him for all that He is doing.
Sunday recap:
- The move to the stage went really well.
- Our band rocks! The Praise and Worship music Sunday was the best that it has ever been.
- We put out more seats and you invited more people and that resulted in another record crowd of 441.
- 4 people crossed the line of faith by accepting Jesus
- If I haven’t told you lately, “I pastor the greatest people in the world”. You all are the best. You desire to take it to a “hole notha level”.
- We want to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ.
- I started “Multiple Choice” Sunday and we will continue to work on becoming great decision makers through this 5-week series.
- I talked about following the example that Jesus gave to us on making decisions. When Jesus was tempted by satan, He said, “Is is written”, “is it love”, and “is it on the Father’s agenda”?
- I will continue the series this week and I will talk about “the micro decisions we make every day, when added together, reflect who we are and where we’re headed.”
- Over 100 kids in children’s ministry. Yea!
- 20 people decided to partner with CrossPoint as they completed the membership class. If you are interested in partnering with us, our next membership class will be on Feb. 25 following the “Sunday Morning Experience”.
Special Events this weekend:
- Teen Lock-in Friday night from 7pm until 2am at the Horsepasture Volunteer Fire Dept. Fellowship Building. Invite teenagers in the area to join us for this event. We will have competitions going on all night and I will also have several people give a word of testimony. Then I will speak to them and challenge them. We will have a great time. For those of you adults wanting to help, I will be there at 6pm to give you instructions. Please bring snacks and drinks.
- SuperBowl Party at the Horsepasture Volunteer Fire Dept. Fellowship Building Sunday night starting at 6pm. Everyone is welcome. Bring a finger foods and a 2 liter drink and we will enjoy the time together. (Wear your black and gold and know that the Steelers will win their 6th Superbowl)

Another great weekend at CrossPoint!
OUR MISSION “To help people become fully devoted followers of Christ.”
- We finished our series last week on “Unstoppable” and I truly believe that God has some great opportunities for us in the near future.
- Unstoppable Vision, Unstoppable Partners, and Unstoppable Idiots (People who believe that Jesus is who is says He is and will do what he says He will do.)
- 370 in attendance with 4 people crossing the line of faith and accepting Jesus as their personal Savior.
- Many people leaving CrossPoint changed because they have made a decision to take the “Next Step” that God has for them.
- We are blessesd to have an incredible band. You guys are AWESOME.
- And if I haven’t mentioned this lately, we have the best children’s ministry teachers EVER. You guys are the best. I recieved an email from a child who attended our kid’s program this past weekend and she told me that she had the best time. Her words exactly were, “U HAVE THE MOST COOLEST CHURCH THAT I HAVE EVERY BEEN IN I HOPE WE NEVER HAVE TO LEAVE THAT CHURCH.”
We will start a brand new series this week called “Multiple Choice”. Over the next several weeks we’re going to talk about how to become a great decision maker, because I’ve discovered something. Life is all about decisions. We are all the sum total of the choices we make and our decisions determine our destiny.
This Sunday will be an exciting transition week as we move from the floor to the stage to allow us to have more seating. We are excited about this move as we are upgrading our “Sunday Experience”. You don’t want to miss this because we have several surprises and we are taking it to a “hole notha level”.
We are having a lock-in for teenagers on Friday night January 30th, from 7pm until 2am at the Horsepasture Fire Dept Fellowship Building. This is going to be a night that teenagers do not want to miss. If you have teenagers or you know of other teenagers that would like to come, this will be a great opportunity to invite them to join us. I have about 20 adults helping to chaperone and we will bring the teenagers home after we finish. Parents, this is your great opportunity for “Date night”, but please sent food with your teen. Because they eat a lot. LOL
On Sunday night Feb 1 at 6pm, we will be having a “Superbowl Party” at the Horsepasture Fire Dept Fellowship Building. Everyone please wear your Pittsburgh Steeler Jersey and bring your yellow towels as we know they are going to win the game. LOL. It will be a fun night hanging out, whether you like football or not. Bring some Superbowl appetizers and a 2-liter drink.

CrossPoint Church, you guys are amazing.
The energy Sunday morning was incredible and God was at work.
I challenged you to invite 3 people last Sunday and you did.
- Attendance went from 336 to 422 in one week. That blew our record attendance out of the water.
- In the auditorium, five people accepted Jesus as their Savior and in the children’s ministry,16 children asked Jesus to be the Lord of their life . WOW.
- Growth Groups have gotten under way and they are AWESOME. Lives are being changed and God is at work.
- We have the greatest children’s ministry volunteers EVER. You guys are doing a great job. I was approached by several parents and they tell me the kids didn”t want to leave. One mother told me that their kid would not shut up about their experience at CrossPoint. She laughed.
Great response so far from the series “Unstoppable”. We have now completed 2 of the 3 messages in this series.

- We agree to do anything short of sin to reach people without Christ
- We agree to do more with less
- We agree to accomplish more together than alone
- We agree that we will make a difference

I challenge each of you to bring three more people and let’s pack it out for Jesus.
We will have chairs set out on Sunday and we plan to move to the stage within the next couple of weeks.
